CYP PU-1201-KIT

The CYP PU-1201-KIT is a UHD+ HDMI over Cat Cable extension system which is able to extend high quality 4K HDMI video along with audio up to 60m (197ft) of Cat.6a/7 network cable without signal loss or introducing delay.

The transmitter unit includes basic EDID management functionality, an HDMI bypass output, and provides PoC (Power over Cable) to the connected supplied receiver. The receiver itself has a local HDMI input and an analogue stereo audio output.

  • HDCP 2.2 and HDCP 1.x compliant
  • TX: 1 × HDMI input, 1 × CAT.6 output, 1 × HDMI bypass output
  • RX: 1 × HDMI output, 1 × CAT.6 input, 1 × local HDMI input
  • Supports HDMI input and CAT.6 output resolutions up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4, 8-bit)
  • CAT.6a/7 extension can reach up to 60m (197ft)
  • CAT.5e/6 extendion can reach up to 40m (131ft)
  • Supports extension of many audio formats including LPCM (up to 8 channels) and standard Bitstream
  • Basic EDID management with 3 built in EDIDs and an EDID bypass option
  • Top panel LEDs indicate link state, power & additional on the RX input selected LED
  • Unit is a PoC (PSE) device and can provide power to a connected compatible receiver
  • EDID can switch among 4 modes: Sink EDID, FHD, UHD, and UHD+
